Zorocut vs ProNest LT Unlimited + Laser (Hypertherm)
ProNest LT is Hypertherm's subscription nesting for light-industrial shops, and the only Western product we found that is sold for lasers on CypCut, HypCut or Raytools CNCs. The laser tier costs €149.99 net a month per user — three times the plasma tier — runs on Windows, comes with one laser post processor, and does costing but no customer quote.

In short
If you need NC from a real post processor, common line and collision avoidance, ProNest LT + Laser does that and Zorocut does not. If what you need is a good nest, a DXF for CypCut, FSCUT or Raytools and a quote for the customer, Zorocut Shop does it on Mac, Windows or Linux for about a third of the yearly price.

Where ProNest LT is better than Zorocut
- It writes NC through a real post processor; Zorocut writes no G-code.
- Common line, collision avoidance, automatic micro-joints and slug destroy.
- Hypertherm's own cut-process data behind the nest.
- Support, training and updates are part of the subscription, from a vendor with a long track record.
Price difference per year
Shop at €490 a year costs €1,129.89 less than ProNest LT + Laser at €1,619.89 net a year; Cutter at €190 a year costs €1,429.89 less.
Our arithmetic at list prices, excluding VAT on both sides. An estimate, not a quote.
Looking for a ProNest LT alternative?
Zorocut nests and quotes on your own computer — macOS, Windows, Linux or the browser — and gives CypCut, FSCUT or Raytools a layered DXF. The Free plan has unlimited nesting and 10 exports or quotes a month, with no card.
How to switch
Export your parts from ProNest as DXF and open them in Zorocut, which detects mm or inch. If you rely on ProNest's plasma posts, keep it for those machines.
