Zorocut next to the nesting software small shops actually consider.
Every competitor figure links to the page we read it on, with the date. Where a vendor publishes no price, we say so; we never guess one.

Zorocut vs ProNest LT
ProNest LT is Hypertherm's subscription nesting for light-industrial shops, and the only Western product we found that is sold for lasers on CypCut, HypCut or Raytools CNCs. The laser tier costs €149.99 net a month per user — three times the plasma tier — runs on Windows, comes with one laser post processor, and does costing but no customer quote.

CypNest is the controller maker's own nesting add-on. It lifts CypCut's built-in limits (50 part types, 20 sheets, array only) and writes Bochu task files that CypCut opens directly. It runs on Windows, its quoting is a report template, its own manual calls its DXF export “Not recommended”, and the only public EU price — €1,290.45 net at Cormak — is listed “Not available for purchase”.

Every Bochu-controlled fiber laser ships with CypCut's built-in nesting, so it costs nothing extra. Its own manual caps it at 50 part types and 20 sheets, with “array” as the only nesting strategy, and the nesting happens on the machine's PC, not in the office. It has co-edge, bridges, micro-joints and remnants, but no quote.

SigmaNEST is industrial CAD/CAM nesting from SigmaTEK, part of Sandvik, sold in editions from AutoNEST to PowerPack. The price is on request. Forum users report about $14,000 for a seat, and in 2011 one reported $1,600 a year in maintenance plus $5,000 to rejoin a lapsed plan.
Read the comparison →Zorocut vs Lantek
Lantek sells Expert Cut, CAD/CAM nesting for oxycut, plasma, laser and waterjet, and iQuoting, a browser quoting tool for subcontractors with one or two lasers. Both are price on request, and no trial or free tier is mentioned for iQuoting. iQuoting prices with the shop's own speeds and makes a PDF, but hands the nest on to Lantek Expert instead of giving you a DXF.

Nest&Cut is web nesting from Alma, a CAM vendor with 45 years of nesting work. It has strong inside-part nesting, DXF and DWG import with 3D STEP unfolding, and on the Production plan NC output through named posts that include CypCut. There is no free plan — a 30-day trial instead — and quoting is not the product.
Read the comparison →Zorocut vs Lapas
Lapas is a browser true-shape nester with a real free plan: unlimited nesting, 5 exports a month, and sheet inventory and remnants on every plan. Pro is $49 a month, or $39 a month billed yearly. It imports many formats and exports DXF, SVG, PLT and beta G-code, makes a PDF report but no customer quote, and lists no CypCut or FSCUT output.

NestorCut is a new browser nester that, like Zorocut, runs in WebAssembly and keeps files on the device on its Free plan. Free gives 10 nestings a month with up to 2 sheets a job; Unlimited is €19 a month and Pro €39. It has part-in-part, a remnant report and 6 languages, but no quoting.
Read the comparison →Zorocut vs MyNesting
MyNesting is cloud true-shape nesting from the maker of NestFab. Solo is $49 a month, Business $150, and a $25 day pass exists for one-off jobs. It is DXF only, lists no quoting, and is sold through Paddle, which handles the tax.
Read the comparison →Zorocut vs SheetDXF
SheetDXF is a browser DXF quoting tool launched around October 2026. Its free plan counts cut length and pierces and makes an unbranded PDF quote, with no nesting. Pro Shop, at $49 a month, adds a website quote widget, branded proposals and nesting in its quote cart.
Read the comparison →Zorocut vs Deepnest
Deepnest is the free, open-source true-shape nester many hobby and plasma users try first. The maintained fork, deepnest-next, is community-run and partly GPLv3, with open issues on DXF scale, arcs, part-in-part and edge margins, and no quoting or remnants. The original Deepnest can no longer import DXF.

Why shops pick Zorocut
Five reasons, each with the facts behind it.
1. Nest and quote in one file
Of the web nesters we checked, Lapas, NestorCut, Nest&Cut and MyNesting list no customer quote, while SheetDXF Free and NanoQuote quote without nesting. Zorocut prices the quote from the nest it made.
