Zorocut vs Lantek Expert Cut and iQuoting

Lantek sells Expert Cut, CAD/CAM nesting for oxycut, plasma, laser and waterjet, and iQuoting, a browser quoting tool for subcontractors with one or two lasers. Both are price on request, and no trial or free tier is mentioned for iQuoting. iQuoting prices with the shop's own speeds and makes a PDF, but hands the nest on to Lantek Expert instead of giving you a DXF.

In short

Lantek is the choice when quoting has to feed a full Lantek CAM line and you quote STEP parts. For a shop that quotes from DXF and wants the nest, the quote and the controller DXF in one place at a published price, Zorocut is the simpler fit.

Where Lantek is better than Zorocut

  • STEP parts are unfolded in 3D for the quote; Zorocut reads DXF only.
  • Quotes use the shop's own speeds and rates from the start.
  • A path into Lantek's full CAD/CAM nesting, Expert Cut.

Price difference per year

Lantek publishes no price for either product, so we cannot give a difference. Zorocut's prices are public: from €0, with Shop at €490 a year.

Our arithmetic at list prices, excluding VAT on both sides. An estimate, not a quote.

Looking for a Lantek alternative?

Zorocut nests and quotes on your own computer — macOS, Windows, Linux or the browser — and gives CypCut, FSCUT or Raytools a layered DXF. The Free plan has unlimited nesting and 10 exports or quotes a month, with no card.

How to switch

Your DXFs come straight in. STEP parts need a flat-pattern DXF from your CAD first, because Zorocut does not unfold STEP yet.
