Zorocut vs CypNest (Bochu / Friendess)
CypNest is the controller maker's own nesting add-on. It lifts CypCut's built-in limits (50 part types, 20 sheets, array only) and writes Bochu task files that CypCut opens directly. It runs on Windows, its quoting is a report template, its own manual calls its DXF export “Not recommended”, and the only public EU price — €1,290.45 net at Cormak — is listed “Not available for purchase”.

In short
If your shop runs only Bochu controllers and you can get a licence, CypNest's native task files, co-edge and micro-joints are hard to beat. Zorocut is the one you can buy today at a published price, on Mac, Windows or Linux, with a customer quote priced from the nest.

Where CypNest is better than Zorocut
- Native CypCut task files, with techniques and layers already set.
- Co-edge (common line) and micro-joints.
- Remnants captured from a photo.
- Bevel cutting (a paid pack).
- Years of use in shops on Bochu controllers.
Price difference per year
Offline at €490 once costs €800.45 less than CypNest at €1,290.45 once, both net — a one-off difference, not a yearly one.
Our arithmetic at list prices, excluding VAT on both sides. An estimate, not a quote.
Looking for a CypNest alternative?
Zorocut nests and quotes on your own computer — macOS, Windows, Linux or the browser — and gives CypCut, FSCUT or Raytools a layered DXF. The Free plan has unlimited nesting and 10 exports or quotes a month, with no card.
How to switch
Keep your part DXFs: CypNest's own .nrp2, .lxds and .nsds files are Bochu-only and Zorocut cannot import them. Nest in Zorocut, then import the DXF in CypCut and map the layers.
